LUBC Students Conquer Their Final Trekking Day in Khao Yai!

Today marked another unforgettable chapter of our Khao Yai expedition as LUBC students completed Trail 1 and Trail 4, experiencing some of the most beautiful and diverse natural landscapes in the national park.

Trail 1 – Nature Trail
Students began their journey along a scenic path that alternates between lush rainforest and thriving dry forest. Along the way, they had the chance to observe local wildlife, including the iconic hornbill birds.
The trail concluded at the picturesque Kong Kaew Waterfall, where the cool forest stream, volcanic rock formations, and freshwater swamp forest created the perfect blend of beauty and learning—an ideal spot for both photos and peaceful reflection.

Trail 4 – Dong Tiew to Sai Sorn Reservoir
Next, our students trekked a one-way path leading to the serene Sai Sorn Reservoir, known as one of Khao Yai’s most stunning sunset viewpoints.
The trail guided them through areas of dry and secondary forest—natural habitats of the Lar gibbon. A major highlight was the awe-inspiring giant Biang tree, believed to be centuries old, standing tall as a guardian of the forest.

Team Bonding & Fun
Between the two trails, students enjoyed lively team games, bringing laughter and stronger friendships to the journey.

Final Stop – Haew Suwat Waterfall
Our trekking adventure concluded with a refreshing visit to the iconic Haew Suwat Waterfall, a perfect ending to a day full of nature, challenge, and exploration.
