The day before yesterday, we proudly welcomed our Autumn 2025 Freshmen to the LUBC family! The day was filled with inspiring talks, interactive sessions, and meaningful moments as students began their exciting journey toward global learning and career success.

The morning kicked off with a Keynote Address by LUBC Executives and an Official Welcome from the Dean, followed by an Academic Excellence Session by the RTE Department and the Earn & Learn Pathway Presentation. LUBC Interns also shared their internship experiences, giving newcomers a glimpse into real-world learning opportunities at LUBC.

After the campus tour and introduction of the RVi Go Achievement Award, students joined important briefings on Visa & Non-Degree Course Requirements before taking part in the much-anticipated Cyber Security & Scamming Awareness Talk, where they learned how to stay safe and alert in today’s digital world.

The orientation wrapped up with Microsoft 365 and MST Trainings for new students — ensuring they are well-prepared to navigate LUBC’s blended learning environment.

On October 30, 2025, LUBC successfully hosted its Autumn 2025 Freshmen Orientation at the Edinburgh Campus Auditorium under the theme, "Sharpen Your International Perspective." The day was dedicated to welcoming new students and equipping them for their journey with a series of vital sessions. These included keynote addresses and an Official Welcome, along with deep dives into Academic Excellence and the Earn & Learn Pathway. Students gained real-world insights from LUBC Interns, learned about the RVi Go Achievement Award, and received crucial briefings on Visa Requirements and Cyber Security Awareness. The event concluded with practical Microsoft 365 and MST Trainings, ensuring freshmen are fully prepared for success in LUBC’s global and blended learning environment.
