The purpose of setting up the RV Institute is to provide quality professional development for our own teachers and staff. There will be both on-line courses as well as in house workshops and training provided for staff.

The Institute will provide professional development in pedagogy, management and technology.

Perhaps most important of all is that it will give our teachers the opportunity to dialogue with each other about education. Quite often, because we teach in disparate locations, we find it difficult to learn from each other. This forum will allow our teachers and staff to engage in constant professional dialogue.
